Giving is an act of worship. At Indwelling, giving is a response to the gift we've received from God through Jesus. We don’t give to earn God’s favor. And we should never give out of obligation—we give as an outpouring of a heart that worships Jesus. And we give generously. Giving teaches us to trust God and submit everything to Him because everything we have comes from Him.
God doesn’t need our gifts, resources, or energy, but He gives them to us so that we might use them to actively pursue the mission that He’s given His church to make disciples. When we give generously, God is glorified, our hearts are transformed, and lives are changed in Grand Rapids and around the world.
